It is a beach village located in the town of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The village is one of the main tourist attractions in the southwestern part of the island. As of the United States 2000 Census, the barrio population was 4,963. It Is considered by many as one of the finest in the the world and. Its calm waters is ideal for family fun and many water sports.  From our hotel is just a very short walk to the waterfront heading south to the beach front. The weather is year around perfect and the Sun will always be there for your terrific suntan and for spectacular sunsets. The village is home to two protected wildlife refuge. The Cabo Rojo National Wildlife Refuge is a habitat for a number of native bird species, including the endangered Yellow-shouldered Blackbird, also known as La Mariquita de Puerto Rico or Capitán. The Boqueron State Forest is one of seven state forests managed by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources. The sands are pretty have a light golden color and on certain spots you’ll find an accumulation of baby shells adorning the sand, children and shell collectors will enjoy this beach. You will be able to enjoy your vacations, weekends or outings in a hospitable and welcoming setting. Good roads will take you in no time to other recreational areas and tourist locations in western and southwestern Puerto Rico; so you will always have something new to see and explore.
