Eye on the Rainforest presents the work of Las Casas de la Selva, a sustainable-forestry and conservation project in Patillas on Puerto Rico's southeast side. Programs include volunteer stays for individuals and groups, forest stewardship, plant conservation, timber-tree cultivation and botanical gardens, and lodging can be booked through the site. A related operation, Puerto Rico Hardwoods, salvages timber from storm-damaged urban trees.
