Red Beach, commonly known as Caracas beach by locals, is one of several beautiful beaches located in Vieques Island. The beach was recently opened to the public, as it was part of a restricted area controlled by the US Navy. Several other pristine beaches such as Green Beach and Blue Beach are nearby.
The best way to get here is renting a Jeep, although local taxis might take you. This area is closed at 6PM, so you should plan to arrive early.
